Psychiatry: Psychiatric care is available for children, adolescents and adults. SIMHC has two full time psychiatrists on staff: Dr. Jimmy Mascaro sees patients ages 18 and older. Dr. Hilda Mascaro will see patients of all ages, however specializes in children ages 17 and younger.
Therapy: Mental health therapy for children, adolescents and adults (individual, couples, family and group sessions available). SIMHC employees 8 full time therapists offering the following therapy modalities: Mindfulness Therapy (MT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Parent Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Play Therapy.
Integrated Health Home (IHH): Integrated Health Home is not a physical place, but rather a concept that includes a team of professionals that can help individuals and families navigate the system when needed. Integrated Health Home is available for adults, adolescents and children who receive Medicaid and have a mental health diagnosis. The program focuses on the whole health of the individual, helping to coordinate both physical and mental health care needs as applicable.
Supportive Employment: Staff available to help adults with a mental health disorder locate employment.
Peer Run Drop In Center: The Promise Center is open free of charge for adults with a diagnosed mental health disorder. The Promise Center provides socialization and volunteerism opportunities.
